"Empowering Sustainability: Achieving All 17 SDGs Through Tree Plantation

Tree plantation stands as a powerful catalyst for achieving global sustainability goals, encompassing all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations. By planting trees, we foster biodiversity, combat climate change through carbon sequestration, and ensure clean air and water for communities worldwide.

Each tree planted contributes to poverty alleviation, promotes sustainable economic growth, and enhances resilience against natural disasters. Join us in shaping a greener, more equitable future where every tree planted is a step closer to achieving these crucial SDGs.

Plantation for more than 25 Thousand saplings of Trees

2+ Acre area covered under this initiative

IOCL CSR Plantation Initiative

Through the IOCL CSR Plantation Initiative, over 25,000 saplings have been planted, creating a thriving green canopy that not only enriches the local environment but also contributes to global efforts in combating climate change.Spanning over 2 acres, this initiative has transformed barren land into a lush green space, promoting biodiversity, enhancing air quality, and providing a natural habitat for various species.

Development of Miyawaki Forest under CSR Collaboration

Plantation of more than 20 species of plants

Maintenance and Ground preparation via advanced Horticulture Techniques

Eco Mobility Miyawaki Plantation

In collaboration with CSR partners, Eco Mobility has spearheaded the development of a Miyawaki Forest, utilizing this unique Japanese method to cultivate dense, native forests that grow 10 times faster than conventional methods. This project includes the plantation of over 20 diverse plant species, fostering a rich ecosystem that supports a variety of wildlife and enhances the resilience of the local environment. The success of this project is further ensured by the application of advanced horticulture techniques for ground preparation and ongoing maintenance, resulting in a flourishing forest ecosystem.

Planted more than 12 thousand Trees

Development of Urban Forests through Miyawaki Plantation.

Aashirwad Trust

Aashirwad Trust has undertaken a significant CSR project dedicated to tree plantation, aiming to restore green spaces in urban areas and contribute to the fight against climate change. With over 12,000 trees planted, this project is a testament to the Trust’s commitment to environmental conservation, helping to reduce carbon footprints and improve the quality of life for urban residents. The Trust is also focused on developing urban forests using the Miyawaki Plantation technique, creating dense, fast-growing forests in urban settings that provide vital green lungs for cities and promote biodiversity.

The Toll of Deforestation

  • Rapid increase in pollution reduces the Carbon Sequestration Potential of green plants which is exacerbated further by increased levels of gaseous and participate pollutants.

  • Reduction in forest cover leads to increase in Albedo Effect which is responsible for aggravating urban heat island effect.

  • Deforestation is directly linked to an increase in siltation and soil erosion

  • Rapid cutting of trees leads to extreme losses in the Biodiversity of the region and creates an imbalance in the Ecosystem

  • Low recharge of groundwater systems due to deforestation leads to Water Availability Issues.
